First successful catch in two weeks. Many strikes by this guy just next to the lily pads. Shortened the worn by half to make it even more enticing and it did the trick

Seko worm w/bright yellow tip got this largemouths attention. @terryb had caught another just a few feet away almost the same size. Good fish to break my skunked streak on our canal.

Size 13 Vibram five fingers for comparison

Location:Barnes Sound FL

Species:Trout, Speckled Sea

One of five speckled trout we caught in the morning just after coffee. They seemed to strike several times before taking the lure. Water depth was 7 1/2 ft with very little current in the small cove we had anchored in.

Who got four of the five? This pic cracks me up. "Look fish, I'm bigger than you."

Location:Key Biscayne FL

Nice sized Crevalle Jack while trolling from the sailboat. 2 other fish struck the line but shook off before we could get them onboard. This guy is on of the biggest so far, about 2-1/2 lbs.

Location:Biscayne Bay FL

Species:Crevalle Jack

First cast of the morning while the coffee was brewing. This school of Crevalle Jack's must talk to each other. This guy came out of the water crapping all over the stern steps.

No other takers in the following 20 minutes of casting. Later in the day while cleaning the hull of the boat, several Jack's this size and larger where happy to snack on the barnacle debris.

After getting skunked yesterday from the breeze and heat with the spin rod. Time to go back to fly fishing for the afternoon. This guy was hiding just in the edge of a shady spot. Three other partners came over to check out my offering, in the end this one took the fly.
