Location:Rock Hall MD
Species:Bass, Striped
I’ve been coming up a little short on my recent Striper trips. Finally today I caught just long enough for a keeper.
I’m trying to learn the tried and true method of chunking bunker for Stripers since the summer has always been tough for my light tackle lure fishing.
My recent attempts chunking with a conventional bottom rig were not that successful, so today I fished a hook with a inline sinker.
This worked well since I could easily tune the depth of my bait to where I was marking fish by reeling out or in.
I fished the whole morning with my trolling motor spot locked for my anchor. I really think that motor spinning attracted them since I outfished my neighbors with conventional bottom rigs by 2-1.
