Me and Picasso went in search of some Stripers around Hart and Miller island. I figured with the the cooler fall weather the fishing should have picked up since my last trip to the islands.
We launched before dawn from Rocky Point State Park and I knew we had limited options since a small craft was up for the morning. We found some spots with enough shelter to work and lucky for us, they were holding a lot of hungry fish. We quickly started hooking up with some nice fish up to 24".
Even though I did try a bouncing some soft plastics, lipless cranks were the ticket for today.
