I finally had the opportunity to hook up with @shaka-antoine for an amazing NYC fishing experience. Shaka had been s longtime Stackfish supporter who often sports our the ultra exclusive black crew hat. Even though we've never fished together before, within 2 minutes we where carrying on like old buds.

I figured from Shaka's stories on Stackfish that he was a very organized guy. This proved to be the case since he had a well thought out whirlwind NYC fishing trip planned for me including a set of his proven lures for the fish and locations we were targeting.

The photo shows Shaka landing the first fish of the night, a nice snapper blue which he donated to my Rec-Tec smoker. The bite was a little off but I did manage two NYC striper shorts.

I had a blast cruising around the city hitting different fishing spots and making new friends. Shaka thanks for a amazing fishing experience and I'll be back, hopefully with @lipless-crankster
