Who would've thought during a sustained 25 plus mph NE wind in your face that a darter would cast, and then swim properly in sea conditions that are a cross between rapids/white caps entice several usually picky qualty striped bass to hit a lure? The answer to that is the location, wind, and the yellow over white Darter...I've said it many times before when stripers are in Montauk they are truly keyed in on yellow over white Super Strike darters. Stay Bent!
