Fishing Report:
I haven't caught a weakfish since before Hurricane Sandy so this weekend was a nice surprise! Landed 12 total weakfish over two days. Granted, they were all under a foot except for one (would have been a keeper size, but we let her live another day to hopefully get another spawn in!). Also caught in the mix were some fluke (all shorts) and sea robin. Most fish caught on gulp, some live bait.

Fishing Report:
Weak-End update....Made a run at the NJ Slam.....Found hordes of peanut bunker in the bay with weakfish racing through the schools, the water churned and turned black with bait, a few blues joined the party then I took a fluke on a gulp, wait where is the bass to complete the NJ slam! But it was not to be.

this is my nephew Tyler, he is showing the 14 inch weakfish that I caught on a minnow. Not a monster, but is was delicious. I am trying to instill in my nephew the idea of less Xboxes and more tackle boxes.

This is a Weakfish I caught soaking a clam. Current regulations are strict, allowing only one keeper. My husband kept one as well that day allowing for a filling meal.
