Fishing Report:
This was our catch the last time Dad and I fished together. It was a great day for all of the right reasons. Great memories. As Dad had done so many times before he caught the first one, the last one, the biggest one and the most. Rest in Peace, Dad. You were right - we should have kept that first one!

Fishing Report:
One of my favourite photos of Dad fishing. This is the first Rainbow he caught that morning and we insisted he throw it back because with a catch limit of 5 he didn't want to keep a "small one" like this. He really didn't believe us but agreed to throw it back after we took a photo. This was late October in Northern Alberta and you can see thin ice in the distance. We trolled right through it with our fiberglass runabout. That crunching noise against the hull was a little unnerving but we didn't imitate the Titanic so it was just a good story in the end.

Fishing Report:
These two beauties were caught in a small pothole lake in Northern Alberta. My nephew, brother-in-law and I were out all day and landed 16 of these. That is 9 lbs of trout I'm holding up. All caught on various colored Canadian Wigglers while trolling. Quite a day. #cw
