Fishing Reports
A last minute decision to go crabbing proved to be a good one and resulted in a bushel of nice crabs.

Capt. JimI had two lines out at two different depths, both proved to be very productive. The deeper line provided all large Crabs while the shallowest line provided both large and small crabs.

After an unsuccessful morning at my favorite hole, I tried casting some spoons and rattle traps into working birds we came across on the way back in and ended up with some pretty hot action of 14"-16" fish. Although there were no keepers, it was fast fun action and made an otherwise non-eventful trip into a fun day on the upper bay.

After many unsuccessful attempts at crabbing this season we finally hit pay dirt yesterday. Although I thought yesterday would be another unproductive day, the gun powder river proved to be the hotspot! Although the conditions were rainy and windy, we caught this cooler full of Crabs in just under four hours running a Troutline and a couple traps.
