Speck Hunt
Hooked with my partner @william for a night of Speckled Trout fishing. The trip was a success. We caught some nice fish and lost a few that were much bigger. It’s okay because we will be back!!!!

17" Speckled Trout
Caught this 17" Speckled Trout shortly after the first Drum of the day. You guessed it, cut mullet was the desired meal on this day!!!

I'm Back
Work has kept me busy but fall fishing is upon us. So it was time to get my lines back in the water. Got off to a quick start with this Puppy Drum. The conditions were perfect and with a generous portion of cut mullet this fella couldn't resist!!!

Black Seabass
Early this past Sunday morning I drove to Oregon Inlet, NC to fish for Sheepshead with fellow Stackfish members @william and @barry who is vacationing in NC. Always up for fishing with Stackfish members.

Unfortunately the Sheepshead avoided the camera this trip but this Black Seabass couldn't resist a tasty fiddler crab.

Couldn't Resist
Being a part of the NC Crew, how could I pass up the opportunity to buy this full color North Carolina Marine Fishes framed picture. Especially for just five bucks. Will be interesting to see how many different fish on the picture have been caught by the @william and myself aka the "NC CREW".

Finally got back on the water last weekend after over 4 weeks away working. Thankfully @william continued to hold down the NC Crew. Only hit a couple of Spade Fish but it was good to get back out.

Got Mullet? The size of the Mullet have been pretty good so far this year. Mullets seem to bring members as we have meet some good people while fishing for them and severs of those have become new Stackfish members.

The ever popular and tasty blowtoads caught this past week at Avon Pier. If you haven't tried them, you're missing out on some real good eating.

Although a little unusual for time a year, here's a picture of a small spot but yet another species caught while fishing on Avon Pier earlier this week.

This picture honestly speaks for itself. But for the record these are some large Sea Mullet cleaned and ready for the frying pan that was caught this week at Avon Pier.

The first trip to Avon Fishing Pier this past Tuesday did not disappoint. We caught 6 different species which is one of the primary reasons the NC Crew likes this pier so much. Here's a picture of one of the many gravy trout caught this day. Check out @ william's post of another gray trout caught on that day.

Next stop on the NC Crew Spring Break fishing tour. Avon Fishing Pier. By the way one of my favorite piers. Obviously fish pictures from Tuesday's trip to Avon, NC coming soon.

This is a pic from weekend after doing some night fishing at the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier with the other half of the NC Crew @william. This picture was from us squeezing every second from the trip fishing late night with checkout only hours away. Crazy thing is we left here and drove too Oceana Pier until 5:00am.

While in Atlantic Beach this weekend on Day 2 of the trip we hit both Oceana Pier in Atlantic Beach, NC during the day and Bogue Inlet Pier in Emerald Isle, NC last night. No matter what the conditions, the NC Crew is always promoting with our Stackfish gear while doing what we love to do... can't wait to do some fishing with more of our Stackfish family members also this summer.
