Spot Run Lynnhaven
Had a little fun last night on lynnhaven pier. Caught 30 spot and about 10 non legal specs in about an hour and a half. I also hung into something huge using cut spot on my light tackle the emptied my spool and popped the line. Great time.

After midnight at Buckroe
The spot were huge and tearing a hook up tonight at Buckroe pier. Even caught a 16in trout in the midst of about 40 11 inchers. Great night at one of my favorite piers after midnight!

Fished for about an hour and decided to use a sabiki rig around 1030pm. Ended up catching about 10 1lb+ shad, threw them back of course, and this beautiful fish I was told is a "Boston Mackerel". My first one ever. Had a great time on the water.

This is a picture from my first time ever fishing for spadefish on buckroe beach pier in Hampton. I ended up catching the largest spade on that pier last year, but never got it weighed officially because of a shift change. Sabiki rig with clam fishbites did the trick. Also caught some blues on threadfin.
