Good sized peacock bass
This fish took the same lure that I used for the large mouth bass. This one fought hard

First successful catch in two weeks. Many strikes by this guy just next to the lily pads. Shortened the worn by half to make it even more enticing and it did the trick

Seko worm w/bright yellow tip got this largemouths attention. @terryb had caught another just a few feet away almost the same size. Good fish to break my skunked streak on our canal.

Size 13 Vibram five fingers for comparison

Healthy sized Crevalle jack competing with the speckled trout for our small shrimp lures. This guy struck hard, just as my cast hit the surface.

One of five speckled trout we caught in the morning just after coffee. They seemed to strike several times before taking the lure. Water depth was 7 1/2 ft with very little current in the small cove we had anchored in.

TerryBWho got four of the five? This pic cracks me up. "Look fish, I'm bigger than you."

Nice sized Crevalle Jack while trolling from the sailboat. 2 other fish struck the line but shook off before we could get them onboard. This guy is on of the biggest so far, about 2-1/2 lbs.

First cast of the morning while the coffee was brewing. This school of Crevalle Jack's must talk to each other. This guy came out of the water crapping all over the stern steps.

No other takers in the following 20 minutes of casting. Later in the day while cleaning the hull of the boat, several Jack's this size and larger where happy to snack on the barnacle debris.

Massive number of gnats hanging near the water surface had a lots of fish feeding. Between the alligator gar and this bluegill striking, I was only able to land this one.

A couple of hours fishing the ICW next to the Hollywood Beach bridge. This is a juvenile Lane Snapper. Another species for @jimmy to add on the list.

After getting skunked yesterday from the breeze and heat with the spin rod. Time to go back to fly fishing for the afternoon. This guy was hiding just in the edge of a shady spot. Three other partners came over to check out my offering, in the end this one took the fly.

Last fish of the day on the spin rod. Almost the same size of the other Largemouth Bass that I hooked earlier. Several Gar and Mayan Cichlid where hanging out near the grass bed but had no interest in my lures

Third cast of the day. Young Bass hanging out near a strong eddy next to a boat ramp. Little guy has some time to put on some size, only about 8" long

I hoped that this was going to be a great afternoon of fishing since this guy was a result of my first cast. He was first of three fish (other two were young largemouth Bass)

Fumbling with iPhone to try and get the shot of the fish and I ended up with this? Hefty Mayan cichild on a dry fly the ripped out of his lip.
