Shark Day at the pier.
tCaught his shark none as a Bonett Head on shrimp. After the sharks had their fill they moved out and the fish started to bit.

Fishin Dude Safety first! I have both a 3 & 6 ft dehooker, and if it's too difficult, we cut the leader as close as possible to the hook.

This Hammerhead swam up through the chum slick and the typical 3 bait spread, right to the boat. This is why you need a pitch bait rigged and ready to toss their way. I like when this happens for two reasons, because you can be selective as to weather you want to try to hook up due to the size or species, and it's cool as hell to watch them actually take the bait. Just have to let them swim away from the boat a bit before you set the hook in case they decide to jump.

Here is a Hammerhead Shark that stopped by the chum slick for a visit. He was released to fight another day.
