Barnegat Inlet Striper
My first striper caught by drifting a live spot. Lost a bigger one later in the day boatside.

No Mahi But We Found Some Fluke
One short of a two man limit. Started off looking for mahi but after checking the range buoy and pot hopping we didn’t see any signs we switched gears and dropped bucktails for fluke. Found a nice patch but couldn’t put that last one in the boat before the southeast wind kicked up creating a 2+ knot drift. Did catch and release a nice out of season sea bass. Saw several pods of dolphins when we broke the inlet and also came across a 6’+ blacktop or spinner shark later in the day.

One of my favorite spots in the fall to fish from shore for blackfish (tautog).

Fishin DudeLove those Blackfish. That's a good shoreline spot to catch Fluke as well, fished it myself a time or two.

Spot Burning here. A nice pair of keepers caught off of the rocks near the base of "Old Barney". Great location with an easy cast into the channel, working the bait back across the bottom can produce a nice dinner and provide a free boat show.
