There is no place I would rather be than watching the sunrise on the Chesapeake on a calm fall day!
I'm trying to up my deepwater game with Stripers and I heard some good reports coming from the mouth of Patapsco river.
I couldn't resit taking a couple of shots at my normal spots around structure and rips but didn't even get a tap.
I went back to my fish plan, channel edges and birds. I found both, marked fish on both but couldn't convince the fish to bite. Probably a combination of my lack of deepwater skill and the fish coming off of their super-moon high.
I spoke to several guys on the water, some trolling and some light tackling, nothing but shorts. I'm sure the troll fleet off of North Point scored some nice fish since I could see but not touch some big fish.
